Central warehouse for industrial trucks and spare parts

When it comes to service, BAOLI EMEA has no need to shy away from comparison

Milan, March 24, 2022 – BAOLI EMEA has been expanding its service offering very stringently for years. The hub for all services is Rolo in Italy. There, the forklift manufacturer, which is part of the KION Group, operates a huge central warehouse for industrial trucks and spare parts.

Forklift truck manufacturers serving the entry-level industrial truck segment always offer poor service as well? This statement certainly does not apply to BAOLI EMEA, a manufacturer that is part of the KION Group. “In this respect, we are fundamentally different from our market competitors in that we have very stringently expanded our range of after-sales solutions over the past few years. To this end, we built a central product and spare parts warehouse in Rolo, Italy. On an area of around 14,000 square meters, we permanently keep around 700 to 800 forklifts ready for immediate delivery and also have a very large spare parts warehouse. From there, we can deliver almost any spare part anywhere in Europe within 24 hours,” explains Christian Bischof, Managing Director Baoli EMEA.

All vehicles are carefully inspected before delivery and documented with the appropriate documentation

The central warehouse in Rolo is divided into a total of five individual warehouses. Warehouses three and five permanently store up to 800 industrial trucks ready for delivery in an area of around 4,000 square meters. Warehouse Rolo one includes an area where all industrial trucks delivered from China are put through their paces before being shipped to customers. “This is just one of very many ways in which we differ from other Chinese suppliers. Our market competitors usually deliver their trucks directly from China to their customers without any further checks. We, however, check each industrial truck very carefully before it leaves our premises for the customer. In addition, we prepare the documentation for the vehicles – such as the operating instructions – very carefully in the local language,” says Francesco Pampuri, Director Brand Management at BAOLI EMEA.

A solid and well-structured organization in the EMEA region

Thus, Baoli is the first Far Eastern manufacturer of industrial trucks that can count on a solid and well-organized structure in the EMEA region. The vehicles stored in Rolo are managed in a two-shift operation. In 2021, around 180 containers were moved for this purpose at the site – in 2022, the company expects an increase in container volumes of more than 30 percent.

The centralized distribution channel, in which all vehicles sold in the region are turned in Rolo and also ordered there by the dealers, saves the European dealers from a lot of import bureaucracy as well. This is another advantage BAOLI offers its dealer partners.
